Berst way to deflate Liverpool "supporters" is ask them who they support. if they say Liverpool, politely tell them they are not from there and therefore don't have an opinion. If they say Liverpule in that daft whiney accent...well you would not want to talk to a scumbag like that anyway.

The funny thing is that the two Liverpool fans I know well are both 40 something and started supported them the season after they last won the league.
One from S London and one from Essex and neither has been to Anfield

Fair point Dan M. Though I thought Stephen Fry used to run with the ICF, no?

Yeah, he was the brains of the ICF :-)

The bloke is a racing driver. I don't think that doing the Lawro prediction game means anyone is being put forward as a football "expert". Unless Stephen Fry, Hugh Grant, Arnold Schwarzenegger and the cast of This Country are now official BBC Sport pundits.

hopefully our relegation rivals won't benefit. Bloody scousers can't be trusted...

Too right. Still remember them putting a very weak side out towards the end of 06/07 season, when Fulham beat them, to get out of relegation trouble, with us still very much in it.

Wonder if thy will rest players this Saturday against Bournemouth, with the CL game next week?

Liverpool without doubt have the cuntiest boatload of glory hunting fans of any team on the planet.

Drives me mad when some cunt from down here who has never been to Anfield calls them WE.

To be fair he pulled off 4 or 5 fantastic saves ... but ... yeah... the one he let in was a clanger

How many howlers has he dropped now for them?

Dunno about anyone one else but the 'non Scouse' Liverpool fans i know are even more screechy and 'victimised' than their bretheren up north.

Saying that though,i have noticed that when a goal is scored against them, especially at Anfield, the fans seem to get more upset than mist as if to say, 'how fucking dare you'

Cunts,the lot of em.

Sven, I worked with a Liverpool 'fan' a few years back. I asked him how often he goes to games and he admitted he had never even been to Anfield!

The majority of my LFC MATES have never been out of Essex

Was just saying to one of my liverpool fan mates, gutted we couldnt have gotten something out of them, could have taken credit for their slide.

If they dont beat Athletico next week their season is essentially over, just seeing out the last few games to coast to the title.

Re: Liverpool to do a Devon LocH?
Tanman, that's just modern football. The bloke doing the BBC predictions last week (can't remember him, but think he was a sportsman) with GTHC said he was a "Man Utd fan". Explained why? Given a shirt when he was about 11, had no idea what it even was, but there and then a became "a fan". 15 years on, he's on the BBC as an "expert". Piss poor all round. GSB probably gutted West Ham London Rovers missed out on a customer.

For the record, he predicted 1-3 to Southampton. Though, TBF, I wouldn't have been surprised at that myself. But at least I KNOW why we're shit sometimes. Many modern "fans" know fuck all.

Re: Liverpool to do a Devon LocH?
Liverpool are looking worn out and they are massively missing Henderson.

As for Adrian’s fumble he did more than enough to keep his team in the game.

And they’ll struggle in the CL home leg against AM.

Re: Liverpool to do a Devon LocH?
They haven't been bothering with the FA cup all season, so was hardly a shock them going out.

They only give a shit about the league (already won) and the CL league.

And my old man had Devon Loch in his firms sweepstake. Was something that they all kept sticking wedge in a pot for a year and was worth about £1500 in todays money. Gutted!!!
